The 1st annual Egyptian thyroid group meeting - 'Management of thyroid disorders: challenges and controversies' is sponsored by the Society for Endocrinology and will take place at Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt on 19 January 2012. Topics covered in the meeting include: subclinical thyroid disorders, management of hyperthyroidism and thyroid nodules. Registration and abstracts should be submitted through [email protected].

The Bone Research Society Training Course: Osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases is endorsed by the Society for Endocrinology and will take place in Oxford, UK on 26-28 March 2012. This is a three-day residential training course which aims to provide trainees, newly qualified consultants, allied health professionals and others with the knowledge and understanding to manage patients with osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases.
