Set the standards for paediatric endocrine care: join our Clinical Practice Committee - deadline 28 February 2014

The ESPE Clinical Practice Committee (CPC) seeks applications from ESPE members. There are 3 vacancies for full members of the CPC. Applications are welcome from clinical paediatric endocrinologists and nurses at ANY stage of their career. Interest from Working Group members would be very welcome and please note that one vacancy requires a candidate with a specific interest in diabetes.

The remit includes overseeing aspects of clinical governance, guideline development and setting standards of endocrine care. Planning and running consensus meetings is an important role for the CPC. The CPC is also responsible for planning the meet the expert sessions at the annual meeting in conjunction with the Programme Organising Committee and the clinical practice pages in Hormone Research in Paediatrics. The provision and update of information for patients and parents about endocrine conditions is an exciting ongoing project (find out more on ESPE's patient page).

Commitment includes one face to face meeting, usually at the ESPE annual meeting, teleconferences 2-3 times yearly and work/email communication in between.
