The post will manage all technical aspects of viral vector production and provide comprehensive support for the Biomolecular Core equipment. This includes day to day management of the viral vector production laboratories; responsibility for in vitro production of adenovirus and lentivirus; the cloning of DNA into viral vector constructs and checking of results using bioinformatic analysis; as well as culturing and processing cell-lines using sterile techniques.
