Senior Policy Executive, British Medical Association

The British Medical Association (BMA) is looking to recruit a Senior Policy Executive (salary £37,368) to provide high level strategic and tactical support to the various committees and working groups of the Junior Doctors committee.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing policy projects, preparing, researching, and drafting policy papers; project managing committee negotiations, and representing committees and the Association at various internal and external forums.

Applicants should have substantial experience of policy development and managing committees, and should be highly skilled in influencing and negotiating. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the NHS structure and major NHS issues is advantageous. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2011.
