The University of Sheffield seeks a highly motivated clinician scientist to join and develop a programme which extends and strengthens its existing research strengths. They are particularly interested in attracting individuals who can link established research areas in building excellence in a research area of their own. You will be expected to demonstrate considerable experience in translational medicine in your chosen area and both a proven academic record of accomplishment and a clear plan for future development is essential.
The successful applicant will undertake clinical work at the Northern General Hospital, contributing to inpatient and specialist outpatient services, and will hold full registration with the General Medical Council and a PhD/MD in a relevant area of diabetes.
