Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Diabetes and Endocrinology, in the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences at the University of Birmingham. The post is linked to Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT).

The purpose of this post will be to complement and expand existing activity in diabetes and endocrinology with a focus on obesity and weight management. The appointee will develop a research portfolio complementary with existing areas of research in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism within the Centre for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (CEDAM). They will help deliver and further develop the MBChB teaching programmes in diabetes and endocrinology and will also take a leading role in the clinical service in weight management, diabetes and endocrinology at HEFT at the Birmingham Heartlands Hospital site. The successful applicant will be a dynamic individual with a higher degree and a proven record at a level appropriate to their appointment as a Senior Lecturer.
