Scientists needed for 'I'm a scientist, get me out of here!'

22 Apr 2010

I’m a Scientist, Get me out of Here! is an award-winning event, funded by the Wellcome Trust, that gets real scientists talking to students, online. Over two weeks scientists can talk to hundreds of school students, without leaving their labs.

Students have fun, but also get beyond stereotypes, learn about how science relates to real life, develop their thinking and discussion skills and make connections with real scientists. There's also the chance to win a prize of £500 to communicate science!

The event runs from 14-25 June. The registration deadline for scientists is 26 April.
