Scientists identify genes linking onset of puberty and body fat in women (CORDIS News, 23 November 2010)

A new study published in Nature Genetics has identified 30 genes that are thought to play a role in the development of early puberty in females. A number of these genes are also known to play a role in fat metabolism and weight regulation.
