Scientists create first humanised mouse model for rare genetic disease

In the first study of its kind, mice with a defected human gene, responsible for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia have been created. This achievement, presented at the 25^th European Congress of Endocrinology, provides scientists the chance to study mechanisms of the disease and to work on effective treatment.
