Scientists create first humanised mouse model for rare genetic disease

In the first study of its kind, mice with a defected human gene, responsible for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia have been created. This achievement, presented at the 25th European Congress of Endocrinology, provides scientists the chance to study mechanisms of the disease and to work on effective treatment.
