Scientific Coordinator, Association for International Cancer Research

The Association for International Cancer Research (AICR) are seeking a Scientific Coordinator (salary from £50,000 depending on experience) to work in St Andrews or home-based. The AICR is an independent charity based in the historic town of St Andrews, Scotland. The AICR award grants for research projects of up to three years and are able to support innovative projects into less well-funded areas of cancer research.

An opportunity has arisen for a Scientific Co-ordinator in charge of the scientific aspects of the grant application and funding process and developing our research strategy. You will need a minimum of eight years post-doctoral experience in cancer research either as a researcher or dealing with the science funding or scientific publications and a strong academic background. You should have experience of working on committees and experience with grant applications.
