The Science Media Centre has issued an invitation to all scientists to attend a beginner's guide to the media, designed to give scientists an insight into how the news media works. Some of the topics covered include how journalists find stories, the role of the editor and press officer, and the importance of engaging with the media.
The course will take place on the afternoon of Friday 12 March at the University of Edinburgh. If you are interested in applying for a place, please contact the Science Media Centre with your name and institutional e-mail address at [email protected].
