The Wellcome Trust offer a huge variety of research training opportunities for clinicians, in the interests of promoting an exceptional standard of academic medicine and clinical research within the UK.

The opportunities include PhD programmes, interdisciplinary translational medicine and therapeutics programmes, and joint PhD programmes for clinicians and basic scientists.
