The work in this fellowship will be to validate criteria for diagnosis of late onset hypogonadism using criteria we established with the cross-sectional baseline data in 3200 elderly men and documenting interval (4 yr) changes in the same men in hormone levels (testosterone, oestradiol, dihydrotestosterone, LH and FSH), and phenotype as well as factors that predict deterioration or improvement in gonadal status.
