Alcohol Research UK is a new charity that has taken over the work of the Alcohol Education and Research Council. Their vision is to see a reduction in levels of alcohol-related harm by ensuring that policy and practice can always be developed on the basis of reliable, research-based, evidence.

A research manager is sought to work with trustees to create the foremost independent evidence base on alcohol-related harm. The successful applicant will work with trustees and colleagues to devise and then implement plans for achieving this, including ways of identifying, collecting and anlaysing the most important research findings from a range of sources.
