Based in the Health Methodology Research Group, School of Community based Medicine, University of Manchester, you will undertake strategic development and management, and contribute to the research and user interface of the Obesity e-Lab: e-Infrastructure for inter-disciplinary collaborative research into obesity. The role will involve working across social science and epidemiology to identify data, evaluate the utility of data, perform analyses, make presentations of results and write papers. The post is expected to work closely with a technical team and user groups. You will also play a key role in external engagement and training.

You should have a good first degree and a higher degree in epidemiology, social science or other related field. An experience in handling and analysis of complex datasets (including NHS data sources), research project implementation and management, and writing for peer-review publication and reports is preferred.
