Peninsula Medical School, University of Exeter is seeking an Associate Research Fellow / Research Fellow in Obesity Biomedical Research to work on an externally-funded project to investigate the role of selected adipokines as risk factors for dementia. This post will align with the PCMD Diabetes, Cardiovascular risk and Ageing theme and is a cross-disciplinary project between the Adipose Tissue Biology Group led by Dr Katarina Kos in collaboration with Dr David Llewellyn in Epidemiology and Public Health.

Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a PhD in a relevant subject. The project would suit a highly motivated individual with expertise in performing ELISA. A record of high-impact publications relating to obesity and/or dementia as a first or senior author would be advantageous.
