The Research Development Manager is responsible for managing and co-ordinating Deafness Research UK research grants programme and supporting the charity’s information, communications and fundraising activities by reporting on research outcomes and hearing research generally. The successful candidate is likely to be someone with postdoctoral experience in a hearing-related discipline and with a genuine interest in disseminating research to a range of audiences.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to work effectively with senior scientists and health professionals as well as lay staff and supporters. We are looking for a team player who is also able to work independently, think creatively and use initiative. This is an exciting career development opportunity and a chance to gain valuable experience in the field of research management.
