Research Coordinator, The Healing Foundation

17 Jul 2012

The Healing Foundation is the UK’s leading disfigurement research charity. They have recently established the world’s largest cleft lip and palate research programme, two major centres for burns research and a world leading centre for regenerative medicine. We support research across a wide method and thematic spectrum, from basic science, surgical techniques and therapy-based interventions in areas such as congenital abnormalities (such as cleft), disease (such as wound healing problems associated with diabetes) and trauma (such as burns).

The successful candidate will manage, maintain and review the Healing Foundation’s arrangements for the management of research, including the processes for application, selection and monitoring of our research and training projects. You will manage the research budget within allocated resources and financial rules of the Foundation, act as Secretary to the eminent Research Council and assist the Chief Executive in overseeing finances through annual budgeting, invoice checking and day to day oversight of projects. Click on the link below for more details. The closing date for applications is midday on 30 July 2012.
