Research Associate – Wales Heart Research Institute, Cardiff, UK

A 3 year post-doctoral position funded by the British Heart Foundation  is available to study adipocyte-derived extracellular vesicles and their influence on vascular function.

The work forms part of a vascular biology research group at the Wales Heart Research Institute, Cardiff University School of Medicine, led by Dr Philip James and Dr Aled Rees focusing on the isolation, detection and characterisation of extracellular vesicles to study fundamental aspects of cardiovascular disease.
