The Investigative Medicine Section at Imperial College London conducts world-leading research into the mechanisms behind appetite and energy homeostasis. They have a vacancy for a Research Associate to work on a project investigating the molecular mechanisms by which specific amino acids regulate appetite, to gain insights into how, for example, a high-protein diet regulates food intake.

The successful applicant will have, among other attributes, a PhD degree in neuroscience, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline, in vivo physiology and/or pharmacological experimental experience, and proven skills in molecular biology and tissue culture techniques.
