Research assistant PPARa functions – Wageningen UR, Wageningen, Netherlands

The Nutrition, Metabolism and Genomics group at Wageningen University  seeks a research assistant for 1 year with possible extension to complete a PhD investigating the biological role of the Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Alpha. This project fits into the team’s overaching research theme investigating the molecular mechanisms and functional effects of nutrients, with special attention to dietary lipids and the regulation of metabolism with a focus on nuclear hormone receptors.
