Applications are invited for a Research Assistant position within the Centre for Microvascular Research at the William Harvey Research Institute, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, part of Queen Mary University of London. The appointed applicant will be working with an internationally recognised group investigating the molecular and cellular events within microvessels. Responsibilities will include management of the centre’s animal colonies and imaging facilities. Experience in in vivo procedures, animal husbandry and possession of a Home Office Personal Licence will be essential. Experience in microscopy/imaging will be highly advantageous.

Applicants must be enthusiastic graduates with several years research/laboratory experience. This is a full-time, fixed-term post for seven years. Salary will be at the appropriate point for experience on the Research Scale 4 (£28,175 – £35,824 per annum inclusive of London allowance).
