Reproduction cycle could be manipulated to save endangered Iberian Lynx (Nature World News, 6 March 2014)

A European collaboration published in PLOS ONE identifies in a species of lynx the longest known corpus luteum lifespan among mammals, showing that a corpus luteum can persist for at least a two year period and influence seasonal breeding patterns.
