Report on the 6th Diabetes Obesity and Metabolism School

Report on the 6th Diabetes Obesity and Metabolism School held in Burg Feistritz, Vienna from Sunday 22nd to Tuesday 24th September 2019

The 6th ESPE Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism School took place in Burg Feistritz, one hour from Vienna. 24 physicians and students from 20 countries around the world gathered there with 12 expert teachers. Intense teaching (from 8 am in the morning...) took place. Rare cases as well as more common ones of diabetes mellitus, obesity, lipodystrophies were extensively prepared and discussed. The venue was superb to allow us to concentrate on medicine and science, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly thanks to all participants, local organizers and our hosts. Looking forward for the next DOM school in Liverpool 2020.
