Regulators pave way for new wave of biosimilar drugs in Europe (EurActiv, 1 July 2013)

The European Medicines Agency has backed approval of the first two monoclonal-antibody biosimilars, setting a precedent for authorisation of biological medicines that can be demonstrated to be similar to biological medicines that are already approved.
