Recent grant winners

A round of applause to all those who submitted an essay to the 2010 Undergraduate Essay Prize. The standard was exceptional, and we look forward to witnessing the field of endocrinology develop as these young scientists and clinicians progress through their future careers.

The winner of this year's prize is Harriet Nerva of Liverpool University, who's essay is titled The curious case of Caster Semenya: intersexed athletes and competitive advantage. Congratulations Harriet! A number of runner-up prizes and commendations were also awarded to other stand-out essays. The deadline for the 2011 undergraduate essay prize is 14 February 2011, and further information is available here.
