The winner of this year's prize is Harriet Nerva of Liverpool University, who's essay is titled The curious case of Caster Semenya: intersexed athletes and competitive advantage. Congratulations Harriet! A number of runner-up prizes and commendations were also awarded to other stand-out essays. The deadline for the 2011 undergraduate essay prize is 14 February 2011, and further information is available here.
