RCP publishes revalidation guidance for physicians

09 Jul 2012

The Royal College of Physicians have now published their revalidation guidance for physicians. From 2012, all doctors who hold a licence to practise will have to demonstrate to the General Medical Council (GMC) that they remain fit to practise, and are doing so in accordance with the relevant professional and specialty standards. To revalidate, doctors must participate in annual appraisal and collate a portfolio of supporting information. The RCP have produced some supporting information guidance for physicians as well as developing tools, templates and services to support physicians through the process.
