RCP Patient and Carer Involvement Steering Group

In August 2004, the Royal College of Physicians' Patient and Carer Involvement Steering Group commenced a work programme on "Communication between patients and their hospital doctor" in order to suggest ways in which greater understanding of the doctor/patient partnership can produce more effective treatment and care. The Steering Group has now completed Phase 1 of its current project: "Explaining the risks and benefits of treatment options". Full details can be found on their website, below.
