Public Event at Edinburgh Science Festival

11 Feb 2008

We are delighted to announce that the Society, in conjunction with the Medical Research Council, is running an event for the public at this year’s Edinburgh International Science Festival. The event, entitled “How hormones rule our lives”, will see Prof Richard Sharpe (MRC Human Reproductive Science Unit) and Dr Mandy Drake (University of Edinburgh) discuss how lifestyle choices, hormones in our bodies and environmental factors can interact to affect our health and that of our children. The event will be chaired by the writer and broadcaster Vivienne Parry and will take place at 18:00, Wednesday 2 April 2008 at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.
