Public Affairs Manager – Devolved Nations, Cancer Research UK, Edinburgh

Cancer Research UK seeks a self-motivated and autonomous individual with experience of devolved public affairs to mange the Public Affairs function in the Devolved Nations, work with the Head of Public Affairs and others to plan, develop and implement strategies and plans for devolved public affairs, develop and maintain an ongoing stakeholder engagement programme and deliver a programme of events that ensure a high profile.

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel regionally when required, comfortable working independently, confident and proactive. An ability to engage and win people over, convey complex ideas succinctly and tenacity are all desirable attributes. The role will involve leading a small team.
