Prostate Cancer UK Sponsored Fellowships

20 Nov 2012

The Daphne Jackson Trust invite applications for two fellowships that will be sponsored by Prostate Cancer UK. The fellowships may be undertaken at any UK university with a suitable department, in a research field relating to prostate cancer. Applicants should note that Prostate Cancer UK has three priority areas: 1. Identifying men at highest risk of developing clinically significant prostate cancer; 2. Distinguishing aggressive prostate cancer from indolent disease; and 3. Finding new, targeted treatments for advanced prostate cancer.

The Daphne Jackson Trust supports scientists looking to return to work after a career break of at least two years. A full list of eligibility criteria can be found at the link below. If you would like to be considered for these opportunities, please submit your CV along with a personal statement explaining your career break and future career plans to the Trust office at: [email protected]. Alternatively contact the office on 01483 689166 for further information. The closing date for applications is 14 December 2012.
