Day four of ECE 2014 promises to be as lively as the fountains overlooked by the venue.
Following the first plenary of the day on the developing field of islet transplantation, the European Union of Medical Specialists, Section of Endocrinology delivered the 3E Exchange in Endocrinology Expertise Prize to M Mathiopoulou of Greece at 9:15. Both sessions take place in the Auditorium.
Delegates can find out more about the new European hyponatraemia guidelines developed by ESE jointly with two other European societies at a session at 9:30 in Imperial Hall.
A second clinical debate will explore the pros and cons of testosterone replacement therapy in the treatment of metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes in men, at 11:25 in the Auditorium.
At 15:50 a session on nutrient regulation of metabolism and endocrine systems will take place in Conference Rooms C&D, and you can read more about one delegate's anticipation for this session at the ECE 2014 blog.
