Programme Highlights Day Five

The fifth and final day of ECE 2014 commenced with a plenary from Dr Chun-Xia Li (Germany) on hypothalamic inflammation and its relationship to obesity. 8:30 in the Auditorium.

Chemists will enjoy the symposium which follows it in the Auditorium, dealing with pitfalls in hormone measurement, whilst the hunt for the elusive brown adipose tissue is discussed in Conference Rooms A&B.

Following a break you get another chance at 11:25 to hear from leading experts on specialist subjects, as many Meet the Expert sessions are repeated, or you can choose to sit in on a third debate on whether to operate in mild primary hyperparathyroidism.

ECE 2014 closes with a final plenary on reproduction and energy metabolism by Adriana Maggi (Italy), before ESE President Philippe Bouchard draws proceedings to a close at 13:45.
