Programme Highlights

03 May 2014

On the menu for the morning symposia is endocrinology in the critically ill, pituitary development, thyroid hormones and obesity beyond BMI. All sessions begin at 9:35.

Following a break the more intimate Meet the Expert sessions commence, and we host a debate on just how closely we should be controlling blood sugar levels in diabetes.

Later on, the first of the brilliant oral communications begin at 14:30, followed by more symposia including an early-career EYES (European Young Endocrine Scientists) symposium on inflammation in obesity affecting fertility and heart disease – 16:00 in Conference Rooms C&D.

The day closes with Professor Pilar Santisteban (Spain) delivering the second plenary of the day on thyroid cancer.

Delegates are encouraged to attend the satellite symposia, which give the low down on the latest developments from our sponsors in the pharmaceutical industry. 18:30-20:00.

And then it’s time to relax at the Informal Networking Evening. Meet your peers from across Europe and the world, make new connections and revisit old ones.
