Added via www.naturejobs.com. Imperial College London is making a substantial new investment in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. They plan to make senior academic appointments to build upon existing strengths and develop a world-leading translational research programme in collaboration with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. There are major research programmes in gut hormones and obesity, genetics of obesity and diabetes, the pathogenesis of diabetes, mechanisms of thyroid hormone action, and bone and mineral metabolism.
They are seeking clinical or non-clinical academics with highly innovative research objectives and a track record of high quality publications. The level of appointment (Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer or Lecturer) and the generous supporting package will be determined according to experience. Interested individuals are encouraged to make informal enquiries to Mrs Charmaine Porter: [email protected]. Tel. +44 (0)20 8383 3052. Applications including a letter describing research and career objectives and full curriculum vitae should be sent to Mrs Charmaine Porter on or before 4 August 2013.
