Reproductive health is one of the major themes of Warwick Medical School (WMS) and you will be expected to contribute to our programme of research, centred on the prediction and prevention of pregnancy complications and improving foetal and maternal wellbeing. The purpose of this post is to develop a clinical research programme focussed on pregnancy-related disorders at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT) that is supportive of the research goals of the Division of Reproductive Health at WMS.

The clinical component of the post will be based in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at HEFT. You will be responsible for developing and providing care in obstetrics and gynaecology for the local population. The precise details of the clinical role are negotiable depending on the individual's interest.

You should hold an MRCOG (or equivalent by examination) along with a CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You should have extensive clinical experience in the care of Obstetric and/or Gynaecology patients while experience in clinical audit and service development/improvement would be desirable. Also you should have an established research background, which may have a clinical or scientific base, exemplified by published research of demonstrable international quality and the ability to establish new research projects, including successful grant applications.
