Via www.naturejobs.com. Jena University Hospital, Clinic of Paediatrics invites applications for the position of Professor of Neonatology (W2). The successful candidate should represent the field in research, teaching and medical services. The candidate will chair the section of Neonatology and Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine. It is expected that the candidate has great experience in neonatal care, will integrate in a Center of Perinatal Care Level I and into the faculty’s research profile.

A doctoral degree and a postdoctoral lecture qualification or an equivalent scholarly achievement, a board certification of Paediatrics and Neonatology, as well as interest to further develop medicine and molecular medicine education programmes are required. The candidate should have an outstanding track record in publications and extramurally funded research.
