The Society for Endocrinology is the major British learned society representing scientists, clinicians and nurses working with hormones. The Society promotes and supports all aspects of endocrinology for the public benefit.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join the Membership and Professional Affairs team as a Professional Affairs Officer to advance and support the work of the Society’s Clinical and Nurse Committees. This post is a permanent, part-time position (28 hours per week), with a salary of £33-35k pro rata and will be based in our Bristol offices. This post affords an exciting opportunity to be actively involved in the work of the Society; supporting our professional members and advancing understanding of endocrinology.

You will be educated to degree level and possibly post graduate level in a relevant discipline i.e. biosciences, nursing. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience of working in a similar role providing committee and member support and an understanding of the issues relevant to the medical profession.
