Postgraduate - Doctorate/PhD : Fribourg, Switzerland

A position is available in Anna Lauber-Biason's lab, at the Division of Endocrinology within the Department of Medicine of the University of Fribourg.

The main focus of study will be the molecular mechanisms of sex development in humans, with secondary research focusing on the analysis of the pathophysiology of monogenic forms of diabetes and of tupe I diabetes. Special attention will also be devoted to beta-cell regeneration processes.

Applicants should have completed a recent PhD in biological sciences/molecular or cell biology/biochemistry. A strong background in endocrinology will be important selection criteria.
