Applications are welcome for an 11-month PhD position at the Cambridge-based MRC laboratory of molecular biology. The position will investigate SNARE-based silencing of neuronal and endocrine cells.
Candidates should hold a PhD in biology or chemistry and should have experience in at least some of the following applications: plasmid construction, receptor expression in mammalian cells, ligand-receptor studies, peptide purification, protein labelling, hormone release, electrophysiology.
