Stanford University has openings in two areas of research:

  • The regulation of stem cell fate decisions by hormones and the implications of these pathways on body composition and metabolism. Currently available projects involve studying adipose and muscle fate decisions.
  • Elucidating the pathogenesis of Type-1 diabetes using immune and biomarker monitoring.
