Via naturejobs.com. The School of Pharmacy, University of London, are looking for a postdoctoral scientist to join a large, European Union-funded project involving 8 labs from 5 European countries. The project focuses on the impact of environmental chemicals on male reproductive health.
In collaboration with EU partner scientists, the successful candidate will work on assays for the detection of hormonally active chemicals and on the effects of combinations of endocrine disrupting chemicals on cells. A PhD or postdoctoral experience in the life sciences is essential. Knowledge of relevant assays in endocrine disruption is desirable; experience in cell culture, gene expression profiling using competitive RT-PCR, and Western blotting essential.
The salary will be in the range of £29,956 – £34,286 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. The closing date for applications is
