Postdoctoral position in pharmaceutical immunology, Taipei city, Taiwan

A postdoctoral position is currently available at National Taiwan University in Taipei City, TAIWAN to study the immune response to vaccine adjuvants and ligands of nuclear hormone receptors. Research is focused on transcriptional regulation of the development of hematopoietic stem cells, employing the techniques of immunology, molecular and cellular biology in the animal models. Particular interest is focused on the differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells and leukocyte trafficking. Extensive experiences on animal experiments are required.

Applicants must have a PhD and/or MD degree with a strong background in immunology, and fewer than four years of postdoctoral experience. The successful applicant is expected to have high motivation with strong communication and writing skills, and be capable of working independently. Excellent publications in basic immunology are required, and experiences with polychromatic flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, culturing primary cells, and in vivo work with animal models is highly desirable.
