Listed on www.nature.com/naturejobs. A postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Endocrinology's Pitteloud Lab, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV), based in Lausanne Switzerland.
The lab investigates the neuroendocrine basis of human reproduction by combining clinical medicine, human genetics, bioinformatics, molecular biology and animal models to elucidate the role of FGF21 signaling as a link between reproduction and metabolism.
The research will entail reproductive and metabolic phenotyping of mice, biochemical and cell-based assays, ligand-receptor interactions, functional genomics, and analyses of human mutations. Additional responsibilities will include supervision of students and technicians, participation in grant writing, and drafting of publications.
