The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute is a world-leading centre of genetic research, looking specifically into gene function in health and disease.
They are seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow with early career research and publication experience in endocrine physiology, bone biology and molecular genetic techniques to carry out fundamental research on the factors that regulate bone mass, including the study of new mouse models of bone abnormalities, investigating the changes in endocrine systems and identifying the mechanisms involved.
The post will involve large-scale genomic sequencing and evaluation using mouse and human material. The deadline for applications is 10 December 2010. For more information please follow the link below.
