Via www.jobs.ac.uk. The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious postdoctoral fellow to join their Metabolic Disease Group. The role involves exploring gene function of candidate loci, arising from analyses of GWAS and whole-exome sequencing data from various patient cohorts focusing on common metabolic disease (type 2 diabetes, obesity and underlying quantitative traits), as well as rare extreme disease phenotypes (severe insulin resistance and early onset obesity).
