The University of Manchester seeks an in-vivo biologist with experience of use of transgenic mice as research models, combined with cell and/or molecular biological skills. The successful applicant will join a team comprising staff from the Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences and GlaxoSmithKline undertaking a programme of research with particular focus on anti-inflamatory drug discovery. Applicants will be expected to hold a Home Office personal license.

The role will include defining key cell types involved in acute and chronic pulmonary inflammatory responses and how disruption of the local cellular clockwork impacts on this system.
