Via www.euraxess.eu. A post-doctoral position in cellular and subcellular mechanisms of control of glucagon and insulin secretion, and their alterations in models of diabetes, is available at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.

A one-year fellowship is available and it is requested that the applicant has a strong CV to apply for a one or two-year extension of the fellowship. The fellowship can start from now until beginning of next year (2012). Techniques include cell culture, molecular biology (plasmids, adenovirus, PCR), conventional and confocal fluorescence microscopy, TIRF, image analysis, measurements of hormone secretion by RIA, and electrophysiology (patch-clamp).
