The British Ecological Society, the UK’s learned society for ecology, is celebrating its centenary in 2013, with a wide and varied programme of activities planned for a range of audiences; from academics, to the public and policy-makers. An opportunity to contribute to the delivery of our work at this exciting time has arisen.

A permanent Policy and Education Assistant is sought to join the External Affairs Team to help promote the use of ecological science and ecological education to policy-makers, and the British Ecological Society’s strategic aims through efficient, creative use of its communication channels.
