Physiological Society appoint Dr Philip Wright as new Chief Executive

The Physiological Society is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chief Executive. Dr Philip Wright joins them following over 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biological and biomedical sciences and brings with him a keen interest in public awareness of science and science education.

In a statement on his appointment Dr Wright said 'I see three key priorities for The Society: raising the profile of physiology in Government and Parliament; investing in education from schools to Higher Education; and sustaining our research capability. I very much look forward to working with the staff and Members.’

The Society for Endocrinology wishes the Physiological Society a productive and fruitful future with their new leader.
